DESCRIPTION:Oktoberfestcon is a one day online Swedish with Swedish reprint policy event (so no Revised\, CE/ICE etc.). I am excited we will have our second annual event on Saturday\, October 14th. So let’s bring that Oktoberfest spirit of enjoying some of the best brews in the world while playing OS with friends for a day. In between rounds we will hang in an online “pub.” \n\n\n\nLast year we had 23 players from 13 countries playing. Martin Lindström won the event playing Power Monolith\, beating a very strong opponent in the finals against Rich Shay playing his Keeper deck. DESCRIPTION:Fourth Farmstead Cup with special rules as written below in Dutch. \n\n\n\nDen 4e Farmstead komt er aan. \n\n\n\nOnder het toeziend oog van landheer \, de Heer C – Spell is er een Crusade geweest over de landerijen van 1993. De oogst is door dun Flashfires volledig verwoest en noa den Tsunami is het land klaar vur den weder opbouw. In de verte van den basis is doar ut midden Oosten. Heerschappen uit het Oosten brengen woord van duistere nachten \, 1001 nachten \, Djinns en Efreets. Dat is ver van de Farmstead. Dun Island Sanctuary beschermt tegen deze Oosterse invloeden en deze zijn ok weer snel vervlogen. De verhoalen blieven zweven over de lege vlaktes van de Savannah\, de Badlands en ook den Scrubland zijn volledig terug noar den vervlogenheid. De Evil Prescence en het vuur van Shivan heeft alles in as en vervolgens in ut Moeras laten vervallen. \n\n\n\nDen wederopbouw van Den Lage Landen staat op het punt van beginnen\, De Broabantse Legendes steken de Kop op \, het is inmiddels het jaar 1994 \, er zijn Draken gezien in het midden van het Koningrijk. Onder leiding van Nicol Bolas \, de Machtisgte Elder Dragon Legend doen nieuwe wezens hun intrede over de taiga’s en Bayou’s. Het zijn geruchten die via lang vervlogen Tome’s de ronde doen. Geruchten over Draken en andere Legendes. Steeds vaker worden deze Monsters gezien in Den Landen. SUMMARY:3rd 7pts Singleton OS World Championship
DESCRIPTION:It is a complete Old School Weekend (with OS Paladin Rules and 7pts Singleton) in summer\, in the capital of Spain\, in Tempest Store\, whose previous edition had more than 50 unique players between both tournaments playing without proxies (which makes it one of the biggest Old School events in Europe without proxies) and ten different nationalities (which we hope to increase this year). \n\n\n\nNew this year: \n\n\n\n– New 7pts Singleton tournament on Friday (to test the new decks). \n\n\n\n– Premodern tournament on Sunday to bring communities together. \n\n\n\n– Prize for the player who comes from farthest away (credited with his plane ticket). \n\n\n\nAs you can see this year’s prizes and raffles are pure Old School and there will be more as participation is confirmed. \n\n\n\nI leave you a picture of what were the game tables and a small video of how we spend the Old School community in these parts at halftime of the game and at an unbeatable price (because “Nobody celebrates life like Spanish people do”). \n\n\n\nPlaces are limited to 60 players (we have now the 42% complete) and you can reserve your place in the tournaments in the following form: https://forms.gle/W3kjmoDSaiSd2YEm9 \n\n\n\nWe know that there is still a long way to go but if you are sure of your participation do not hesitate to register now because places are flying! DESCRIPTION:Summary from the Lobstercon web page: \n\n\n\nWHAT IS THIS?This is a community-organized Magic: The Gathering weekend in Greater Boston\, featuring main events for the Old School 93/94 and Premodern formats. Since 2018\, LOBSTERCON has been New England Old School’s marquee event\, continuing as an annual charity fundraiser for Room to Grow\, a non-profit organization based in Boston. \n\n\n\nAn entry fee of $80 for all players will cover registration in any and all of the weekend’s events: the Premodern MAIN EVENT (Friday\, June 2)\, the Old School MAIN EVENT (Saturday\, June 3)\, the X-Point Old School SIDE EVENT (Friday\, June 2)\, and the Premodern SIDE EVENT (Saturday\, June 3). All events will take place under the same roof\, with a cash bar on-site and easy access to a wide range of carry-in food options in Cambridge. \n\n\n\n… \n\n\n\nOld School Main Event hosted by NEOSSaturday\, June 3\, 10:30am – 9pm. The sixth-annual edition of our seafood-driven Old School charity tournament. The format for the main event will be Atlantic 93/94\, no proxies allowed\, typical EC/American reprint allowances as with past LOBSTERCON events. The structure will be straight Swiss. Deck photos will be required\, to be submitted before the first round of the main event.
