DESCRIPTION:Hello everyone ! \n\n\n\nThe 2021 French OldSchool Championship will be held on December 11th & 12th 2021 at Play-in game shop in Paris!Address: Play-in131 avenue de France75013 ParisFrance \n\n\n\nOn the menu\, a big weekend in real life MTG & beers:– Saturday 11th December from 11am : French Boars Championship\, entry fees of 25€\,– Sunday 12th December from 10:15am : French Singleton 7pts Championship\, entry fees of 10€\,– Saturday and Sunday afternoon: initiations for Flesh and Blood. \n\n\n\n/!\ Due to the sanitary situation\, and in order to guarantee everyone’s health\, we will only be able to accommodate 56 players each day!Obviously\, we closely monitor the evolution of government and local instructions and will not fail to communicate any change in protocol./!\ The health pass is compulsory and will be checked at the entrance to the room. \n\n\n\nRegistration and payment of the fees must be done on https://cdf.french-boars.fr (no registration will be possible on site).A refreshment bar / snack will be available all weekend.Please note: The shop rules prohibit any food or drink from outside! \n\n\n\n———————- \n\n\n\nSaturday 11th December : French Boars ChampionshipThe shop opens at 11am\, rounds start at 11:30am!The best French player will win a Beta Black Knight Beta altered by Jeff A. Menges (see mockup) + small prizes for the Top 8!In order to encourage the participation of new players and less ‘competitive’ and more fun decks\, a good part of the fees will be redistributed in OldSchool cards by drawing lots for all players who did not drop at the end of the Swiss rounds.A special prize will also be awarded to the best unpowered deck using no card from the ‘P9’\, plus other surprises;)Organization:– Swiss rounds of 50 minutes + Top depending on the number of players\,– Level of rules: competitive (but gentleman)\,– Decklists will be requested at the start of the first round\,– The “toss” of the final stages will be decided according to the seed ranking after the Swiss rounds\,– Rules: we will use the French rules http://oldmtg-france.com/rules/\,– Authorized editions: Alpha\, Beta\, Unlimited\, Collector’s Editions\, Arabian Nights\, Antiquities\, Legends\, The Dark and Fallen Empires!– In order to allow a maximum of players\, we authorize the reprints of the cards present in the authorized extensions\, and this whatever the language\, as long as the card is not ‘foil’ and that it has the frame and the drawing of the original card.– 10 proxies are allowed as long as they are undetectable under sleeves and are easily recognizable and nicely made\, but no counterfeits!– Mulligan: “London mulligan”. \n\n\n\n———————- \n\n\n\nSunday 12th December : French 7pts Singleton 93/94 ChampionshipShop opens at 10:15am\, rounds start at 10:30am!The Champ will win an Old Man of the Sea altered by Mikl Fi (see mockup)!There will also be a prize for the best Unpowered Deck (“Unpowered” = Deck playing with 0pt).The remainder of the fees will be redistributed in OldSchool cards\, beers or boutique credits by random draw for all players who did not drop at the end of the Swiss rounds.– Swiss rounds of 50 minutes.
